Get picked up from your hotel in Chengdu at 8am and arrive at Dujiagnyan Dam in about two hours. Built in 256 B.C., Dujiagnyan Dam is the oldest functioning irrigation system in China.
This private 2-day tour takes you out of the city of Chegdu and into some of Sichuan's best attractions. Explore the ancient engineering marvel of Dujiangyan Dam, as well as the origins of Taoism and Tai chi, while soaking up the beauty of Qingchengshan. Marvel at sites including Erwang Temple and Tianshidong. On the second day, visit Dujiangyan's panda research base to see pandas and learn about the efforts being made to protect this magnificent animal.
